Terms of service

These terms apply when you use lifelongmethod.com, including the free tools and paid plans. Please read them with our health and safety page.

1. Who we are

Lifelong Method is a service of In-Shop Oy (business ID 0351098-9), Finland. You can reach us at hello@lifelongmethod.com. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean In-Shop Oy.

2. What Lifelong Method is

Lifelong Method compares the published advice of health experts and turns it into personal training and eating plans, made by software from your answers. It is general education, not medical advice, and no expert featured is affiliated with us or has endorsed the service. Before you start any plan, talk to a doctor or another qualified health professional about whether it suits you. See Health and safety.

3. Who can use it

You must be 18 or older. You use the plans at your own responsibility and should follow the advice on our health and safety page.

4. Your account

You log in with a one-time link or code sent to your email, so keep access to your email account secure. An account is for one person. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Free and paid features

Expert profiles, comparisons and your free plan (your first week and the 8-week outline) are free. The full 8-week plan (training for every week, daily meal plans and shopping lists, supplements, daily movement and progress tracking) costs €29 as a single payment. There is no subscription. Current prices are on the pricing section.

6. Payment

In-Shop Oy sells the plan to you. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Prices include VAT or sales tax where it applies, calculated for your country at checkout.

7. Access to your plan

8. Refunds and your right to withdraw

Your full plan is digital content that opens as soon as you pay. Before paying you agree to that and confirm you understand that the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal then ends; we confirm this by email. Even so, if you are not happy, ask for a full refund within 14 days of your payment, no questions asked. This does not limit any other right you have as a consumer. Details are in our refund policy.

9. Using the service fairly

Please do not copy, resell or publish the plans or site content, share your account, try to break or overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does, after telling you why where we can.

10. Content and names

The site, plans, texts and software belong to us or our licensors. Experts’ names are used only to describe whose published advice a profile summarises; they remain the experts’ own. If you are an expert featured and see something inaccurate, tell us and we will correct it.

11. Changes and availability

We improve the service over time and may change features. We try to keep it available, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you paid for, you can ask for a refund for the unused part of your access.

12. Our responsibility

We take care to describe published advice accurately and to build safety rules into the plans, but we cannot know your full health situation, so we are not responsible for injury or loss caused by following a plan against the advice on our health and safety page or a health professional’s advice. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow that, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

13. Ending your account

You can delete your account and plan at any time on your My plan page. Deleting it ends your access straight away, so if you want a refund under section 8, ask for it before you delete.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you live in the EU or another country with its own consumer protection, you keep the protection of the laws where you live, and you can bring a claim in your own country’s courts. Please contact us first so we can try to put things right. Consumers in Finland can also take a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta).

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will email members at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
